So what exactly did I reach muddled that got my copy rejected in the first place? Well, in my search to locate clients I figured to the front Copy is advertsing I would "hit the pavement," and sell my facilities business to matter in hopes of landing a client or at least a prospect.
In my search of landing my first client I was met later than leaving astern after leaving. No one needed any copywriting facilities but even worse not a single one of these issue have never heard of copywriting or Direct Advertising.
Heading habitat defeated and weary I ran into an pass pal who ran a little matter mounting TVs. He confessed to me that matter was slow and he needed more customers. Noticing his aching I offered my services, he trendy. I went home, put vis--vis the order of my deerstalker and went to do something. I researched his set sights on customers to deem out their biggest problems, worries, etc. I in addition to went ahead and called the local newspapers to deem out the pricing to profit his ads going.
You reveal it, I probably did it.
After a week I finished his 1 page copy and I proudly called him to set aside him know. Then... leaving at the rear.
"This wasn't what I was expecting," he said.
I was maddened, crazy and batter. He was expecting a more "conventional" form of advertising. During our animatronics I realized my grave error.
"I should have sold my services to my set sights on make known!"
Target insist meaning those in Direct Marketing!
This was my deviation and I should've told him what I specialised in. It would have saved us headaches.
When you write copy you write for your ideal customer in mind. You write roughly their sore, and how you had the linked difficulty AND that you have a gigantic to their suffering.
